Cuban Apartheid

I know we all sound like broken records in the Cuban American blogs. “Castro this, Castro that”

But what are we supposed to do when we know that injustices are being committed, in the name of a false ideological cult, on our countrymen, family and friends? Get in our SUV’s and drive? Order another beer? Keep crying out in the wilderness like a crazed coyote howling at the moon that nobody hears?

We keep screaming about the Cuban Apartheid and we get smirks and rolling eyes. When we talk about the conditions of Cuban blacks, the subject gets changed to football or the weather.

Everybody in Cuba has it bad, but the majority has it worse. The majority of the population in Cuba is now black.. Trust me, there are no African-Cubans in Cuba. There are dark skinned Cubans with a capital C. Cubans first black a distant second. In fact, many of the dissident leaders are black. Yet, the Cuban ruling class has a few blacks, tokens, in positions with little or no authority. And they were supposed to bring dignity and equality to Cuban blacks.

This is how they do it:

But, don't feel too bad. After all he has free education and healthcare.

Thanks Gusano, for exposing the abuses against human dignity commited everyday in Cuba. We all should be e-mailing this photograph everywhere.

CB: It's our duty and obligation to expose the regime.
Amy: it's a very offensive photo on so many levels that after thinking about it, I decided to post it rather than link to it with a warning. The brutality and inhumanity of the Cuban people's slavemasters must be exposed, shocking as it may be. I have repeatedly tried to illustrate the plight of the Cuban blacks and the racist ways of the castro thugs. Nothing can illustrate that better than this picture. I apologize the indescretion, but it is more like an exhibit at a trial or clinical study.

Just thought you'd like to know just how respected the Cuban people and government are in the UK.

For example, the leader of the Cuban trade unions was given a standing ovation at our Trade Union Congress this month.

In my home town of Derby over 150 people crammed into a room meant for about 80 to hear Che Guevara's daughter talk about the achievements of the 50 years of the Cuban Revolution.

We love Cuba... and Cuban socialism is there to stay... get used to it
