If you tell people everything's gonna be alright, well they're going to pat you on your back say "Good Job!" and walk away without a care in the world. No grants. No Funds. No Job. No I-Pods.
But... If you tell them the sky is falling and we all may just die - well they're going to listen. They'll be concerned. Hell, they might just give you some funds for research to see if the catastrophe can be averted.

So, those egregious Cuban born professors at University of Miami's very own Cuban and Cuban American Studies Center want raul kasstro to be the successful queen of the Caribbean, they want the Cuban people enslaved forever, so.... No mass migrations, no economy suffering from the competition of a free Cuba, and well, a long career path to all who created and have reaped the fruits of the anticastro industry, while doing absofuckinglutely nothing about achieving anything of value for what they say is their motherland.

The Government tells you who is your family and who is not, so you cannot even dream to go see them (in case that kasstro allows you into Cuba) or send them money or medications, or any other kind of help.... because, that helps kasstro! (According to those cojones free politicians of ours) and on the other hands this professor Gomez wishes raul kasstro success so everything stays the same. Jaime Suchlicki have said something similar, I have it on the Black Sheep under the title the real fear.
So "fuck you, long live raul", as the professoral and academic class message to the Cuban people goes.
Those people have no shame. As if Cubans didn't have enough with almost 49 years of tyranny. No, these well fed academics want even more. For the Cubans of the Island, that is.
Great...hopefully another mass exodus happens and hopefully wet-foot dry-foot is abolished by then. People worried about South Florida's economy if Cuba becomes free of the system? Jeez, so much for our government's and academians' commitment to "democracy"!
Bring on the mass exodus! They wont dare... BECAUSE THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT HAS STATED THAT A MASS EXODUS WOULD BE CONSIDERED AN ACT OF WAR AND OUR MARINES WOULD BE THE FIRST ONES TO HIT THE ISLAND!
