``It's a high price, but it's the price of liberty.''

Amado Veloso was born in 1971 , a true child of Castro’s Revolution.

He received his “free” education and was taught to be like Che – The New Man

But, like most everything in the misbegotten plans of Castro Inc., the New Man failed to materialize.

The perfect beast of collectivism, submission and hatred envisioned by unholy trio of Fidel, Che and Raul, turned into a Cuban.

Cubans will give an arm and a leg to be free.

Amado Veloso gave both his legs and 15 years of his life in a struggle to reach freedom.

Many have given it all and failed.

“When I look at it from afar, I feel it was worth it,'' he said of his odyssey. ``It's a high price, but it's the price of liberty.''
