The Unfriendly Skies

The skies are unfriendly today.

I have a thunderhead sitting on top of my house preventing me from dipping into the 92 degree water in the pool.

But the Sun will reappear .... eventually... meanwhile the Cuban Tree Frogs are scrambling to make sure their webbed little feet don't get wet lest they suffer the same fate as these paisans.

The unfriendly skies will get a lot unfriendlier for some Spaniards. Iberia, the Spanish Flag Carrier, is on the sale block and the leading contender to buy the airline out is a company out of Texas called TPG.

Now if an American company owns Iberia that means no more Spain-Cuba flights for Iberia. He,He,Helms Burton...

Shucks! How are all those old Spaniards going to get to Cuba to take advantaged of our impoverished young girls?

Sorry, gotta go ... the Sun is coming out!

Hmm, I'm very curious to see how this turns out too.

Many US companies have found their way around Helms-Burton (farmers). Let's see what develops.

Is anyone betting?

i'm sure Iberia will keep flying to Cuba one way or the other.
