We have touched on the assassination of Camilo Cienfuegos on KillCastro, time ago, there are many theories, all we know that kasstro himself ordered him killed.
Matos believes that Castro was trying to instigate a situation where when Cienfuegos comes to arrest Matos, Matos' men fire on Cienfuegos and Matos is held responsible. Matos averted that by sending his driver to bring Camilo. So, they had to resort to plan "b" the missing/found/missing plane thing.
