Law limiting research travel to Cuba upheld

A federal judge upheld a Florida law that bans students and professors from using university money to travel to Cuba or any nation deemed a "terrorist state."

U.S. District Judge Adalberto Jordan rejected the challenge from the American Civil Liberties Union to stop enforcement of the law.

you guys talk out of both sides of your ass. . you talk about freedom in cuba but then go about restricting freedom of your own American citizens!

you have probably never even been to cuba.. just like most of the hard liners.. (they haven't been there in like 20 30 years) guess what? that means you will have no influence when it does change. most cubans i know on the island are more fearful of you than fidel.

hey,hey let's try to keep it civil, please.

there's nothing in that post that in anyway express and editorial opinion.

so, i don't see how i can be acused of talking out of any side of anything when all i've done is
stated a fact.

just because certain people as taxpayers don't want to spend money to pay for travel to a terrorist supporting state, doesn't mea they're restricting anybody's freedom.
