Cuba-Disney

What a spectacle. It was befitting of a Disney Parade. Obsolete Military Props. Soilders in costumes. "Handmade Signs". Goose Stepping olive clad soilders with empty guns marching from Revolutionary Land to YesterYearLand and past the reviewing stand in FantasyLand where Raul Castro officially took Cuba's helm today. And the World-Press is Orgasmic. Why?
Because Raul said this:

We take this opportunity to once again state that we are willing to resolve at the negotiating table the longstanding dispute between the United States and Cuba, of course, provided they accept, as we have previously said, our condition as a country that will not tolerate any blemishes on its independence, and as long as said resolution is based on the principles of equality, reciprocity, non-interference and mutual respect.

--------

Fairy tales can come true
It can happen to you
If you're young at heart
For it's hard you will find
To be narrow of mind
If you're young at heart

You can go to extremes
With impossible schemes
You can laugh when your dreams

Fall apart at the seams
If you're young at heart
-------

To add to the fairy tale atmosphere, the Cuban people that were forced to participate in the show got to go home earlier than usual because Raul's speech was less than an hour. Back when his windbag big brother was running things, we might still be waiting for the show to end.
